Had a blast last night presenting my one woman show at #WeavingSpirits Festival. All the hard work paid off. People seemed to really enjoy it! I got a standing ovation. I am so grateful to all the people that made the show possible: Jesse, Gabe, Ashley, Javier, Landa, Min, Rick, Kevin, Artlyn, Jil, Counterpulse, and BAAITS! I poured a lot into this work about my ancestors. Maybe somebody will invite me to take this show on the road? #Seminole #BlackSeminole #TwoSpirit #QueerNative

I am deep at work ordering and revising my poetry for my upcoming show at #Counterpulse next Saturday night at the Weaving Spirits Festival of Two Spirit Performance. So many poems, so little time! I am fortunate in that the theatre has put me up in an artist’s apartment where I can work on my piece without interruption from friendly roommates. In between editing footage clips for my slide show, editing poetry, and hunting for props, I am calling on my ancestors to speak to me so I can make sure I am getting things right. As a medium I have been blessed to be in contact with my dead relatives from time to time. Most of the ancestors I talk about in my show died before I was born and some people ( including some of my family) are wondering how I know so much about them. I have been talking to the old people in my family my whole life and I have also been talking to the “dead” people. Nobody really dies so it’s just a matter of catching a spirittrain to the other side now and again to have a chat. #weavingspirits #twospirit
Had fun teaching medical intuition to a group of Bay Area women in Oakland today. Medical Intuition combines intuitive insight with medical and anatomical information in order to provide a client with answers about the nature and cause of their disease. A wide range of healing practitioners cameron the workshop today: acupuncturists, massage therapists, energy healers, herbalists and others. We talked about what medical intuition is, what it’s good for, and how it differs from other types of intuitive work. Then I discussed the Vest Protocol I developed for doing a medical intuitive scan. I answered questions and then put the students in pairs to do actual scans on each other. As usual, everyone was surprised by how accurate their readings were! I love when that happens. My guides told me long ago that if I would just teach that the right students would be led to me and that they would learn fast. And it’s true: my students learn fast! This is the only class I am teaching this month in the Bay. My upcoming show, (Re) Counting (Wo)man is taking up all my time this trip. But I will be back at the end of March to start my second cohort of Women of Color Medicine Apprentices and to run my cereclass. This year I will also be offering a number of intensive workshops like the one I taught today. Stay tuned for Akashic Records, Energy Healing, and Mediumship classes. Also my apprentices from the original cohort are doing exciting things. They are starting healing centers and herb shoppes and selling spiritual crafts. The work has begun! #medicalintuition #medicalintuitive #medicalintuitivecourses

As a medical intuitive I am able to help people solve medical mysteries. I dontt th his by combining intuition with knowledge of anatomy and healing modalities. Anyone can study anatomy but not everyone knows how to clairvoyantly look into a body, clairaudiently listen to an organ, or clairsentience feel into a person’ ailment. Come to my workshop tomorrow, Sunday, in Oakland, CA from 2-5 to learn how to practice medical intuition. This is a three-hour intensive and it open to everyone (all experience levels and all genders and backgrounds). You can come to learn how to sue intuition for your own health and healing or you can learn in order to help friends and family. Workshop will be held at YogaLove. This is a class not a cereclass so we will start promptly at 2 and end at 5. I will share a lot of information and will have you engage in exercises to practice the protocol I am teaching you. I have taught this class many times and have been impressed with how many people can pick this skill up fairly quickly. The more medical intuitives we have in the world the better! Location: YogaLove, 3851 Market Street, Oakland, CA United States Tuition: $50 on eventbrite or pay cash or venmo at the door

I am headed back to the Bay. This month I will be putting on my one-person show, “(Re)Counting (Wo)Man” at the Two-Spirit Festival, Weaving Spirits in San Francisco on Saturday, March 7th at 7 PM. I am super excited about this show as I am trying some new things- combining poetry with images and film and storytelling. I have done this type of multi-media show before but always with other artists, never alone. This time all the words and all the images are mine. My only collaborators are spirits. In my show I explore Seminole history, gender, sexuality, hybridity, and ceremony. I am speaking to and for so many camps to which I belong. Unfortunately, this show has interfered with my monthly Women of Color Medicine Series and I have had to cancel the March 7th cere-class. However, I am offering a new workshop, Medical Intuition, this Sunday March 1st at YogaLove in Oakland 2-5 PM to make up for it. Tickets on Eventbrite. The most difficult part about writing this show is the way it is influenced by my ancestors and my desire to honor them. Some ancestors are mentioned by name, others are not. They all want to be heard... what to do? I hope to do them proud. I hope to tell their stories. I hope to be a living record memorializing their lives. I would love to se some friendly faces in the audience.
