Had another successful online class yesterday. Topic was Akashic Records. I will be teaching this class every Saturday for a few weeks. Never too late to join. It is my hope that if I can help people acquire the tools to visit their own akashic records and also important questions at this time it will empower people. Right now, as we suffer through this difficult time we are all feeling pretty powerless. We don’t have the power to leave our houses, see our family or friends, eat our favorite foods, engage in sports, go to the gym, go out to a club or party, attend meetups, go to school.... the most is long. But we still have the power to go within and to go UP. We can travel to distant realms and we can talk to our higher self and we can visit with our spirit guides and we can meditate and chant and pray. We can also make art and play games and do puzzles and videochat with friends and family daily. I will be offering a free meditation zoom on Monday at 11 AM. I will post and email the link. If you aren’t on my mailing list send me your email and I will add you. I am hoping we can all come through the next few months stronger than we were. I hope we can unite during this pandemic and become more cognizant of our shared humanity. I hope we can go deep during this time, connect more, and become more of who we really are. #ThisIsTheShift people!

I have released a new book of poetry in the wake of my one-person show, “Re/Counting Wo/Man” which was commissioned by Counterpulse theatre for the #WeavingSpirits Festival in San Francisco on March 7th. All of the poems that I performed in the show are found in this collection, along with many more. In this collection, I explore history, ancestry, racism, identity, traditional culture, modernity, sexuality, gender, indigeneity and blackness thought the lens of hybridity and mulitipositionaity. My poems name and claim, decry and protest the histories of my peoples in a effort to teach the beauty of oneness through a celebration of difference. By provoking, challenging, and interrupting both modern and traditional narratives, these poems take the reader on an unsettling and eye-opening narrative journey. In the end, the problematics of place and race that mark this collection lead to an insinuated revelation of splintered yet shared humanity. To purchase the book, click the link in bio. $15
